The Witch with the Spurs

Imagination runs wild in this low-poly dungeon crawler! Join a witch who's a bit too fond of Westerns. sent on a quest to clear out the nearby abandoned Sillyum Mine by the local (literal) ghost town and going toe to paw with crazy sock monkeys, distrustful dust hares, and Silly Bandits corrupted by their greed for the mine's raw Silly Band ore.

As the 3D Art Lead, I've taken multiple characters from concept art to fully modeled, textured, rigged, and animated game-ready assets for Unity, along with several boss variants with distinct movesets.

Orbital Clash

Take command of a legion of magic constructs to gather resources and out-maneuver your opponents in this planet-hopping sci-fi/fantasy multiplayer game.

Under development after initial creation for a game jam.

Position: 3D Art Lead

As the 3D Art Lead, I've taken multiple characters from concept art to fully modeled, textured, rigged, and animated game-ready assets for Unity, including the player character and the two initial magic constructs for the player to use for foraging for resources and battling enemies.  I also modeled and textured the four starting planets.

In the Dark

With a child's imagination, the dark comes alive with monsters... but if you're not looking at them, surely they don't exist? Travel through a distorted mansion while dodging around strange creatures conjured from the dark.

The Dark Wood

A mobile text adventure game created in Android Studio, where you must navigate through a parallel dimension where the shadows wait patiently, teeth bared, for you to make a wrong turn.

Using the accelerometer, the player can tilt the device to scan different paths for safety. There are multiple endings and several different death screen images and text.

As the sole creator, I programmed all of the text and features of the gameplay, created the script, and illustrated all of the 2D backgrounds.

Overdue

The Night Vale City Council presents a PSA on the dangers of the Night Vale Public Library. Navigate this den of danger with nothing but your trusty flashlight  by your side, while you try to return your overdue book without drawing the attention of the terrible beasts that lurk within...

Team: Margot Menendez, Cristian Villaran, Josh Dargan, and Brandon Spence

Position: 2D Art and Animation Director and Secondary Map Designer

As the 2D Art Director, I was in charge of creating all of the 2D art assets used in the game. This includes the player design and animations, enemy Librarian design and animations, illustrated win/lose screen backgrounds, UI menus and indicators, environmental assets and tiles, and more.

I also helped to design the overall map configuration, assemble these assets within the Unity scenes, and paint the tilemap of the floors and walls.

Good Boy

While the humans are away, the dogs will play! In this third-person exploration game, you play as the titular good boy himself, Cooper the Corgi! Help him escape from the backyard and explore the great unknown beyond the fence. From river rapids to mountainous mazes, there's plenty to see and do with the help of the mysterious cat, Chess.

Position: 2D Art Director and Storyline Creator

As the 2D Art Director, I was in charge of creating all of the 2D art assets used in the game. This includes the character dialogue sprites; UI menus for the gameplay controls, map, quest list, collectibles, and settings; 2D collectible sticker designs; and other illustrated assets. I also modeled the 3D Cat Keys used to progress in Cinema 4D.
